Today's Class 3/13/13

In class today we watched more of the movie. We took lots of notes. We learned about Socrates and how he said "an unexamined life is not worth living". He influenced people to expand their thinking and make their own decisions. He also taught people how to make choices and be themselves. Because he did this he was put on trial and found guilty. He was sentenced to death by hemlock. Hemlock is a drink and it is slow and you suffer through agonizing pain.
